Associates Degree:
Information Security
The Associate of Science (AS) degree in Information Security is a 20-month program that prepares Information Technology specialists with the critical vendor certifications, advanced security certifications and general education requirements they need to qualify for senior corporate IT management positions. Graduates command the skills and credentials that set them on a rewarding career path where specialization is in increasing demand. With the AS degree in Information Security, students are prepared to design, build and secure computer networks, ranging from stand alone PC creation, complex domains and sites, up to enterprise-scope security principles.

The A+/MCP track is a 20 week, full time program designed for people new to the IT industry and entry-level IT workers looking for a solid base in PC and Networking concepts and certifications.
Commencing with training in single PC operation and troubleshooting, and continuing to Peer-to-Peer LAN operations and support of desktop computer users with additional classes on Client-Server Networking, the program concludes with courses in Network Security and Voice over IP systems for additional employment potential.
Students shall receive the following certifications, (after passing the industry examinations):
CompTIA A+
CompTIA Security+
Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP)
Microsoft Certified Desktop Service Technician (MCDST)
The A+/MCP program also prepares students to continue with the Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE) certification.

A+/MCSE
Offered as both a weekend-only schedule and a mixed day and weekend schedule, the A+/MCSE track is an approximately 30 week program designed for people planning career changes to the IT industry and current IT workers looking improve their background in PC and Networking concepts and gain industry accepted certifications. Commencing with training in single PC operation and troubleshooting, and continuing to Peer-to-Peer LAN operations and support of desktop computer users with additional classes on Client-Server Networking, concluding with classes in Network Planning and specialized training in a Microsoft "Back office" technology, such as Exchange Server Administration.
Students will take the CompTIA A+ certification preparation course followed by a the Microsoft 2151 Network and Operating System Essentials course. Those classes are followed by seven Microsoft-designed courses leading to MCSE certification.
In addition to certification as a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), students will also be :

Microsoft Certified Professionals (MCP)
This program is preparation for IT positions ranging from PC/Network Technician to Network Engineer, as:

A+/MCSE/Cisco/Linux
The MCSE/Cisco/Linux program is offered to students with either certification or prior experience in PC repair and Peer-to-Peer networking, leading to certification as :

Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP)
Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE)
The 32 week program, offered on weekends, is comprised of eight Microsoft-designed courses preparing for certifying examinations for both MCP and MCSE certifications. The domain-based knowledge is augmented by Wide Area Networking router and switch configuration in Stanbridge College 's course in Interconnecting Cisco Networking Devices, and the Microsoft-centric knowledge is enhanced by exposure to a variety of GNU/Linux distributions in the LCP course, Installing and Configuring.

The 24 week program, offered on weekends, is comprised of eight Microsoft-designed courses preparing for certifying examinations for both MCP and MCSE certifications. The classes cover subjects ranging from Microsoft client and server operating systems to network security and specialized server (email or database) functionality.

CCNP
The Cisco CCNP certification, achieved by passing four examinations, is the culmination of a 16 week program offered on weekends. Advanced students (holding the CCNA certification or equivalent work experience and experienced network administrators) will benefit from the four classes in designing and configuring complex Wide Area Networks.
CCNP program graduates are likely to be responsible for installing, configuring and operating LAN, WAN and dial access services for organizations with networks of over 500 nodes with a wide variety of internetworking technologies.
