Associate Degree Programs:

  • Associate of Science Degree in Computer Networking & Security Management
    Computer Networking and Security Management is among the top five fastest growing occupations through 2012. Network or computer systems administrators design, install, and support an organization's LAN (local-area network), WAN (wide-area network), network segment, Internet, or intranet system. They provide day-to-day onsite administrative support for software users in a variety of work environments, including professional offices, small businesses, government, and large corporations. They maintain network hardware and software, analyze problems, and monitor the network to ensure its availability to system users. They also gather data to identify customer needs and then use that information to identify, interpret, and evaluate system and network requirements. They may be called on to educate users on computer security, install security software, monitor the network for security breaches, respond to cyber attacks, and in some cases, gather data and evidence to be used in prosecuting cyber crime.


  • Associate of Science Degree in Medical Assisting
    A Medical Assistant is a professional multi-skilled person who assists a physician. This person performs duties under the direction of a physician in all areas of medical practice. Patient care management includes preparing treatment and examination rooms, taking vital signs, possible assisting in minor surgical procedures, giving injections, venipuncture, assisting in laboratory operations, possible radiography procedures, and electrocardiograms. In addition to the clinical aspects, a Medical Assistant's function in an administrative capacity includes maintaining patient records, billing, scheduling appointments, ordering supplies, and handling insurance claims.


  • Associate of Arts Degree in Health Services Administration
    The Associate of Arts with a major in Health Services Administration program provides instruction in basic health services administration skills. This program of study will prepare students for entry-level employment positions such as: physicians' office managers, assistant managers of physicians' offices, supervisors in health care organizations, and other related administrative assignments in the health services environment.

  • Associate of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice
    The Associate of Arts degree with a major in Criminal Justice provides instruction in current criminal justice-related issues, topics and trends. Students in this program will be given an inside view of the operations and processes of law enforcement, the courts and correctional institutions. In addition to learning about theory and practice, students will be exposed to the latest applied technology within each component of the system. Also, students will have an opportunity to speak and interact with current criminal justice practitioners.   • Associate of Arts Degree in Homeland Security
    The Associate of Arts Degree with a major in Homeland Security provides a comprehensive review of the Department of Homeland Security, it's agencies, laws, authorities and actions. This program prepares students for entry-level positions in law enforcement, security, protective services, and other such careers in local, state, or federal jurisdictional arenas. Courses in hazardous materials identification and handling are presented, as are courses on domestic and international terrorism. Acts of terrorism and the response and recovery actions of Homeland Security agencies are detailed, including the laws and other legislative actions taken to give authority to the multiple agencies involved.


  • Associate of Arts Degree in Paralegal
    Keiser University Ecampus has developed a Paralegal program that trains students to handle most of the challenging tasks formerly handled solely by lawyers. A Paralegal, sometimes called Legal Assistant or Lawyer's Assistant, is supervised by an attorney and assists attorneys with legal research, drafts documents and motions which are filed in court, interviews clients and witnesses, manages cases, and is involved in the gathering of evidence and the litigation procedure. Paralegals are also often involved in trial assistance and other dispute resolution processes, as well as with the preparation of real estate documents, probate, contracts, corporate matters and law office investigation. Short of advising clients, making legal decisions, and representing clients in a court of law.
