The Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, and Heating service industry has experienced a critical shortage of qualified technicians in recent years, the need for qualified personnel is the greatest challenge facing the industry today. Concerns about energy efficiency, the integration of sophisticated control systems, new technologies in heating and cooling and construction spurred by growth have created tremendous opportunities for trained technicians.

Educational Objective
To provide the successful graduate with the necessary skills for entry-level positions in companies that install, operate, troubleshoot and service light commercial and domestic air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating equipment in private homes, office buildings, factories and other facilities.
Day program is full time, 36 weeks in length and 72-quarter credit hours. Evening program is part time, 48 weeks in length and 51-quarter credit hours.
Electronics Technician
Explosive technological growth in the areas of information, entertainment, communications, and control systems has created an enormous need for skilled technical support personnel. The Information Technology Association of America estimates that 10 million people now work in information technology jobs. The ITAA predicts that in coming years, job openings will exceed skilled personnel by more than 800,000.
Students will learn to service, maintain, upgrade and optimize personal computers. In addition, students will learn networking fundamentals. The course provides an excellent foundation with preparation for A+, Net+, and some MCSE examinations.

Educational Objective
To provide the successful graduate with necessary skills for entry-level positions in companies as electrical/electronic and computer service technicians. Graduates will be equipped to work in the areas of electrical/electronic and personal computer installation, troubleshooting and maintenance, as well as the installation, operation and servicing of light commercial AC and DC electric motors, and programmable controllers.
The day program is full time, 42 weeks in length and 84-quarter credit hours. The evening program is part time, 56 weeks in length and 59.5-quarter credit hours.
Electrical Maintenance
The Electrical Maintenance Technician of today installs and services a broad range of electrical systems and controls. The Electrical Maintenance program is designed to provide the skills and competencies demanded by today's industrial, commercial and residential electrical equipment and systems.
The development of new information, the dismantling of related monopolies and the onset of competition in services have created tens of thousands of opportunities and challenges for the commercial and residential Electrical Maintenance Technician.

Educational Objective
To prepare the student for entry-level positions in computer operations, word processing, and data entry. The graduate will be prepared to use computers in today's office environment and the software associated with it.
Office Administrative Assistant programs are available during the day.

Note: Keyboarding and typing skills will be stressed throughout the program.
Network Technician
