Career College of Northern Nevada's (CCNN) has designed the following programs with your future employer in mind.

  • Medical Assistant
    The graduate of this program will be able to perform routine administrative and clerical tasks to keep offices and clinics running smoothly. Clinical duties vary and may include taking medical histories and recording vital signs, explaining treatment procedures to patients, preparing patients for examinations, and assisting the physician during the examination.

  • Information Technology
    Emphasis is placed on preparing the student for entry-level and supervisory opportunities in both business and non-business organizations. Students will learn advanced computer skills such as network administration and support, business applications, and information technology.

  • Electronic Engineering Technology
    This program prepares men and women who are fascinated by learning how things work. It is a career for those who like to use their minds as well as their hands, and are excited by experimenting with new possibilities. Electronic technicians make things happen. They work closely with engineers to help design, test, manufacture, and service the technology that is changing our lives.

  • Information Processing
    Emphasis for this program is placed on preparing the student for entry-level supervisory and management opportunities in both business and non-business organizations. Students will develop advanced level computer skills in accounting and software applications. With the legal minor or the medical minor, emphasis will be placed on office skills as they relate to the legal or medical office.

  • Business Management
    This Business Management degree is designed for those students who want to train for a job that may include using personal computers to run spreadsheet, word processing, database management, desktop publishing, and graphics programs. Students will be prepared in many aspects of running an office.

  • Medical Billing and Coding Specialist
    The objective of this program is to train students to perform insurance coding and billing reimbursement duties. Computer skills, accounting, fundamentals of business, and insurance reimbursement will be developed to the advanced level. Students who complete the program might find employment in any the insurance billing industry.

  • Paralegal Studies
    The Paralegal Studies Program is designed to provide the necessary skills to work under the supervision of an attorney as a legal secretary or paralegal/legal assistant in the public or private sectors of law. Graduates completing the courses in the program and meeting all graduation requirements will receive an Associate of Occupational Studies Degree in Paralegal Studies.
